Dawson's Creek: The Series Finale Release
Date: September 30, 2003 (USA)
Episode Music - Part I & Part II Part I and Part II correspond respectively
to episodes #623 and #624, without the additional or extended scenes.
All the tunes heard during the show's original airing on The WB
Network are still here. Due to the extended scenes, an additional track was heard in Part 1 during one of wedding scenes.
It is an instrumental song performed by the portrayed wedding band - Painted Man Band, and the song is titled "Brotha".
Original Pilot Presentation Ending The song heard during this clip is "Don't Speak" by No Doubt.
You can find out all the music played during the original and unaired pilot episode.
Closing Credits Music The closing credits are the actual credits and music placed by Sony/Columbia when
the show was originally produced. When the show originally aired on the WB Network, this music was not heard. This particular
piece is different than with all other season 6 episodes. In order to accomodate the additional credits of a double episode,
the music needed to be additional 15 seconds longer. Adam Fields, Dawson's Creek music composer, recorded this special solo
piano piece just for that purpose. This music was also heard at the end of the one and only TBS syndication airing of the
2 hour finale. |
